Granés Fundació Hosts An Event On Rare Diseases For The TV3 Charity Marathon

Granés Fundació hosts an event on rare diseases for the TV3 Charity Marathon

Next Wednesday, 11 December, at 7.00 pm, the Granés Fundació will host a debate at its conference room (Carrer Països Catalans,116). The round table will feature people who will tell us about their personal experience with rare diseases. The goal is to create awareness of a series of diseases that still receive insufficient attention from public opinion, public authorities and the pharmaceutical industry, in spite of their increasing prevalence.

The initiative was proposed by the County Health Panel and organised by Banyoles Town Council, with the cooperation of the Pla de l’Estany County Council’s Social Welfare Area and Granés Fundació.

The TV3 Charity Marathon

Most of the activities scheduled in Banyoles to raise funds for the TV3 Charity Marathon will take place on Sunday, 15 December, between 11 am and 1 pm. There will be music and dance performances at the Main Square (Plaça Major) of Banyoles, given by the Banyoles Municipal School of Music, the Veus de l’Estany Choir, the Esbart Dansaire Fontcoberta Folk Dance Group, the Concepció Gratacós School of Classic Ballet, the pupils studying for the Artistic Baccalaureate at the Josep Brugulat Secondary School, Les Marin and the Banda Balca. Anyone wishing to donate to research in rare diseases will find moneyboxes in the town’s shops and on the day of the TV3 Charity Marathon.
