‘Fill in the blanks for inclusion’ gymkhana
Friday, 3 December is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. To commemorate the Day, the Banyoles Commerce and Tourism Association and the Pla de l’Estany Disability Panel have launched a gymkhana called ‘Fill in the blanks for inclusion’.
From 3 December to 3 January, posters will be on display at 10 shops, bars and restaurants in the centre of Banyoles. These posters show 10 demands made by disabled people so that they can live a normal life. The goal of the gymkhana is to dispel widely held prejudices concerning disabled people.
Those wishing to take part can ask for the gymkhana coupon at the participating establishments and fill in the 10 phrases with the demands written on the posters. When all the gaps have been filled in, hand in the coupon at the office at Cal Moliner (Plaça Major, 36) before 3 January. All participants will be entered in the draw for three lots of products provided by the members of the Disability Panel and the Banyoles Commerce and Tourism Association. The first ten people who hand in their coupon will receive a gift.
