Training and research
Training and research is one of the other main axes that we have at Granés Fundació, which aims to generate new knowledge and evidence both locally and nationally in the field of disability and young people, intellectual disability, mental health and intellectual disability.
We seek to ensure that this knowledge is transferred to other areas, from academic to social, educational and health. Convinced of the need for professionals to train more and better, always from the perspective of rights and the progressive achievement of the mandate of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
We encourage collaboration between professionals, researchers, people with disabilities and their families in order to advance in the quality of support for people to make their inclusion possible.
In this way, we seek to create learning ecosystems in order to share knowledge, create community and move towards a more inclusive society.
With the Granés Fundació Grants we make it possible for two young people, Albert Minguela and Melisa Samaniego, to carry out their doctoral thesis research within the framework of the IDIBGI Research Groups.
