Assistance to cope with Covid-19 for challenged people and families living in the Pla de l’Estany

Granés Fundació supplements the support provided to people and families by the Fundació Estany, which works with and for intellectually challenged people and their families, and the Fundació Autisme Mas Casadevall, which provides support to young people and adults with autistic spectrum disorders, to help them cope with the repercussions caused by the coronavirus crisis.

Support for families

We have also coordinated with different organisations in the Pla de l’Estany to provide support for families who, for whatever reason, have been impacted financially or healthwise by COVID-19. These families have been detected by third sector organisations in the Pla de l’Estany, in coordination with the county’s social services.

The goals of Granés Fundació are to work with and take part in projects focused on the care and inclusion of disabled people, and also to undertake research and provide training for young people, so that each one can achieve their personal life project. Accordingly, faced with the problems caused by Covid-19, the Foundation has decided to provide support to these organisations, with the ultimate goal of developing the capabilities both of their users and of the organisations themselves.
