At Granés Foundation, we co-organize workshops with the Estany Foundation for families with children with disabilities. This is a meeting space where families can share daily situations and experiences and support each other.
During this first trimester of the 2022/2023 academic year, we have supported the following talks and workshops:
- Workshop for families. RECONCILE WITH YOUR CHILDREN’S DIFFICULTIES, led by Anna Rosa Martínez Prat . This workshop consisted of three sessions with different objectives: To generate experiences that allow for awareness of internal barriers, to become aware of the resources they have to overcome these barriers, and to provide tools that allow them to make the changes they desire and to connect with their inner joy, that space of calm that is never disturbed, to experience it, and to return to it in moments of need.
- Online talk for families. ASD AND AUTONOMY HABITS, led by Lucila Oberlander, where it was discussed how to support individuals with ASD so they can have healthy growth adapted to their needs.
And to conclude the series of talks for 2022, on December 13, we will host:
- Talk for families. BEHAVIORAL DISORDERS: Positive Behavioral Support Tools, with Laia Campo López . A talk to reflect on disruptive behaviors, their possible causes, how we can understand the individual, and how to find answers and solutions through positive behavioral support techniques.
