Next Friday, December 2, from 9 AM to 1 PM, the second Mental Health and Disability Day of Maresme will take place in the auditorium of Mataró Hospital, titled “Understanding the Person”. Fundació el Maresme co-organizes this conference, together with the SESM-DI of Maresme and Northern Barcelonès, the Maresme Health Consortium, Dincat, Granés Fundació, the Maresme branch of the Academy of Medical and Health Sciences of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, and the Catalan Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health.
Participating in the 9:30 AM inauguration are Irene Alcamí, participant from the Training and Integration Service of Fundació el Maresme, Ramon Cunillera, manager of the Maresme Health Consortium (CSdM), Albert Vidal, manager of Fundació el Maresme, Víctor Galmés, director of Dincat, Laura Masferrer, manager of Granés Fundació, Gemma Parramon, president of the Catalan Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health, and Laura Seijo, Councillor for Social Welfare, Health Promotion, Health, and Consumer Affairs.
This will be followed by the presentation of the booklet “Mental health and intellectual disability”, by Granés Fundació and the Catalan Society of Psychiatry and Mental Health, presented by Jordi Monserdà, and the presentation of the brochure “Mental health is everyone’s business”, by Dincat, presented by Israel Belchi.
